The Board of Management of St. Conleth's National School is constructed as follows:

The Board of Management has a statutory obligation to ensure through the Principal and teaching staff that:
• General education provision within the school is of a high quality.
• The needs of students are identified and responded to by the school.
• Appropriately qualified competent teaching and non- teaching staff are appointed, subject to approval of the Patron and Department of Education.
• School plans are developed, implemented and regularly evaluated.
• Management and staff development needs are identified and provided within available resources.
• Parents receive information on their child’s progress.
• The school complies with all rules and regulations prescribed by the Department of Education and Skills.

The Board of Management met on April 15th 2024. Members of the Board of Management enjoyed a brief tour of the school and were impressed with the facilities available and the evidence of commitment and dedication that was visible in every area of the school.
Applications for Exemptions from the study of Irish and Leave were approved.
The annual reviews of the Anti-Bullying Policy and theSafeguarding Statement & Risk Assessment were completed.
A Policy on Anonymous Complaints was adopted by the Board of Management as well.
The Board congratulatedthe children and their coaches on representing the school so well in the Cumann na mBunscol fixtures and at the FAI5s competition. We are always proud of the manner in which the children represent the school. Well done to all.
The Board wishes the Second class children well in their First Confessions and at First Holy Communion in May. These are important milestones in their Faith journeys and important occasions for all.
The Board members thank Lucia O’ Brien for her donation of a beautiful book on Cyber Safety. This will be used in Assemblies alongside our webwise activities.
